Creamy Green

(2 glasses)

  • 4 green kales leaves
  • 2 apples
  • 1 ½  frozen banana
  • 1 lemon
  • 2 cups nut milk
  • A bit fresh ginger
  • A pinch vanilla powder
  • A pinch pink salt

Green drinks are very high trend on the market. These two combinations are one of my favorites. One of the tricks while making juices or smoothies is the color. I think the mix of the ingredients is very important so you get a clean bright color instead of a undefined mix of tones... this also will affect the taste. So if you, for example want to go for a purple one, pick mainly purple ingredients and neutral colors to mix. If you add some kale leaves into it, that is fine, just be aware of the quantity otherwise it will turn brown.

To make the Green Detox,  clean the fruits and veggies and rinse the greens under cold water. Cut the fruits and veggies in pieces. Juice all the ingredients except for the lemon, you can squeeze it after into the juice mix. When ready, add a pinch of pink salt and store in a clean glass jar. Keep in the fridge for a bit to cool down.

You can add some super foods as moringa, baobab, wheatgrass... or keep it simple!

To make the Creamy Green, peel the apples, remove the kale leaves from the stalk and rinse under cold water. Add all the ingredients into your blender and mix until smooth.

Lovely with topping; a spoon of bee pollen, some fresh sprouts, pumpkin seeds or even some drops of hemp oil.
