'A creamy autumnal drink'
  • 4  fresh figs
  • 2 oranges
  • 4-5  fresh soft dates
  • 1 cup sesame seeds (soaked previously, for at least 6 hours)
  • 3 cups water
  • A pinch of sea salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla powder
  • ½ tsp cinnamon powder
  • A pinch of cardamom powder

I like the taste of this smoothie and its texture, as it is creamy with a touch of orange and spices. Sometimes i do different versions of it, adding some frozen blueberries or banana pieces on it.

Place the sesame seeds in a really thin strainer or nut milk bag and rinse them underneath fresh water. Place the sesame seeds in your blender, adding the three cups of water. Mix in high speed. Pour the sesame milk using the thin strainer or nut milk bag. Rinse the blender. Squeeze the oranges, cut the figs and de-pit the dates. Place the sesame milk together with the orange juice and the rest of the ingredients into the blender and blend until smooth.

* It's a nice and healthy choice to top the smoothie with some grains of bee pollen.
